4 archers shooting in two details in ends of six arrows in 4 minutes.

Rounds and faces

  • WA 70m round for recurve and longbow; shot on a 122cm full face
  • WA 50m round for all barebow; shot on a 122cm full face
  • WA 50m round for all compounds; shot on individual 6 zone 80cm face

Bosses

Where possible, all bow types will shoot on foam bosses, except for longbow which will be shot on straw bosses.

Awards

1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards will be allocated in each category.

Award allocation will be based on scores for each category and will be presented at the end of the shoot.

This tournament is open to archers currently affiliated to Archery GB or World Archery.

Dress regulations will apply, as described in rule 307 of the Archery GB Rules of Shooting (PDF opens in a new tab).

In accordance with the AGB policy for ā€œsafeguarding and protecting children and young peopleā€, anyone wishing to use photographic/video equipment at a tournament must register prior to the start of the shoot. This includes mobile phone cameras.

Entry to the tournament will be taken as acceptance of the conditions referenced in this prospectus.

Fees and cancellations

The entry fee is £20.00 for each archer. Fees are payable by bank transfer; payment instructions are on the registration form.

Entry fees will not be reimbursed after the closing date.

Target list and results

The target list will be made available on this webpage, and emailed directly to entrants.

Top results in each category will be announced with awards at the end of the shoot. Full results will be published on the website as soon as possible, and emailed directly to competitors.

Liability

None of Bowmen of Darenteford’s Archers, Judges, or affiliated parties can accept responsibility for any loss, damage or injury however caused. Entry to the tournament will be taken as acceptance of these conditions

Data Protection

By entering Bowmen of Darenteford’s competitions, you agree that the information you provide may be shared with tournament organisers, scoring systems, Archery GB and other competitors. Some information may also be published in documents relating to the event. This information includes your name, bow style, round, club, county, region. A target list will be published prior to the event, available on Bowmen of Darenteford’s website. Results will be published as soon as possible after the tournament, on Bowmen of Darenteford’s website.

By entering our competitions, you are agreeing to abide by Archery GB Rules of shooting (PDF opens in a new tab) the regulations of these tournaments.

A parent/guardian must sign on behalf of Juniors. For Juniors under 18 years, the Tournament Organiser (Logan Heasman) must be notified of the senior person who will be taking due care and responsibility for that junior the whole time they are on Bowmen of Darenteford's premises.

Drug Testing

Record status shoots are liable for drug testing. Any competitor approached to give samples for testing must comply. Refusal will be treated as a positive result. Parents / guardians must sign the relevant forms available at the registration desk giving consent for junior archers to be tested if approached.
